2011 turned out to be a pretty good year. I saw more films I liked than disliked. For me, one major reason for inclusion on this list was the surprise factor. If a film snapped my attention and made me say “Wow!”, I gave it higher marks than others. So this is my personal list of 13 favorites in alphabetical order. I also listed the ones that are currently available on DVD.
